E2E OBSERVABILITY ENGINEER

We are currently looking to enforce our technical team with E2E Observability Engineers who will have the following main responsibilities:

• Fast gain of thorough knowledge of ADAPTERA’s deployed products/solutions.
• Using product knowledge and technical expertise to make independent judgments within established guidelines, procedures and policies to determine an action plan for resolving customer issues.
• Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with persons in our organization as well as in our customer’s organization in order to facilitate support and resolution of daily customer-centric issues.

Position Requirements

• Associates / Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or Engineering.
• 3+ years relevant working experience
• Good knowledge of networking and/or server technologies & OS (Windows server, Linux)
• Experience with NMS installation & support (open source – Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG etc or commercial packages – Solarwinds, ManageEngine  etc)
• Good Knowledge of scripting-languages (Go, perl, python, Java, bash or other)
• Operational experience – comfortable providing support to customers.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal & writing skills in Greek & English language.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to following tasks through to completion.
• Ability to meet deadlines and set priorities with effective distribution of time and effort.

Desirable Requirements

Proven work experience/certifications in the following areas is desirable and will be evaluated:

• Vendor certifications
• Knowledge of virtualization & cloud technologies
• Experience working with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g. Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk, etc.)
• Experience with Prometheus or Kafka.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are looking for a SQL developer who will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. You will also work other developers optimizing in-application SQL statements as necessary, and establishing best practices. You will help solve all database usage issues and come up with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future.

Responsibilities

• Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
• Prepare documentations and specifications
• Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup – recovery process
• Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary
• Collaborate with other team members.
